I do most of my riding on the road and this is supposedly an 80/20 tire. It does very well on the highway and has enough grip for gravel and even a little mud. I would not go off-road with it.

Was riding a trail in the national forest by Rapid City, SD and failed a hill climb and went over, my ankle was caught between a softball sized rocks and the ground.
Long story short I got rescued, ambulance ride to the hospital and it is broken! Surgery and plates installed next week.

So sorry to hear about your mishap.
Two years ago, my bike, Super Tenere took an unexpected nap and fell over onto my right foot and broke my #5 metatarsal bone, or bay toe.
Fortunately for me no intervention required.

Today, I removed the side tank pads.
I bought a pair of side tank pads, and when I removed the protective paper and stuck them onto the tank...the glue never set. It remained soft and sticky and the pads would succumb to gravity.
Tried a Gorilla glue spray, same results.
I tried two sided tape, oh yes the tape adhered to the tank, but not to the pads.
I removed the pads, and the tape along with residual glue...OMG!!
WHAT A ****-SHOW.
I have more pads on order, hopefully they will fit and stick. Fingers

Believe it or not, Honda Brite works real well for removing graphics adhesive, including the OE emblem adhesives.Today, I removed the side tank pads.

Another method to remove decals etc.
A hair dryer and an old plastic credit card. Heat the decal, starting at a corner and keep working the edge of the card.
Isopropyl alcohol drug store grade doesn't affect the bike's paint.
I would not use acetone.

Hopefully the surgery went ok? The lower limbs are surprisingly sensitive to blood pressure changers. In the 90's i broke a big toe, 3 or 4 weeks later i was feeling good (boredom) and decided to take a 200 metre walk to the shops. Via crutches. Needless to say I didnt make it! Had to call a taxi cab to take me 150 metres to home!! Anyway Heal Well belrix
Shoulda had them install some leg peg mounts while they were in there so you could cyborg clip into the bike!!

I have a pair of Klim 50 riding jeans...love em!
The rear or seat area of the pants is wearing thin...going fuzzy, definitely thinner...just wondering if Klim will have a solution.
Or should I have some patches either leather or if I can get some heavy denim anti-slide patches sewed on.
Anyone???
